Director
Anthony began his insurance career with CGU Insurance in Canberra before spending two years in London working for American International Group (AIG).
On his return to Australia Anthony worked for Allianz in Sydney, looking after a number of key brokers in the city.
After moving to Young in regional NSW Anthony founded Red Star Insurance. With a primary focus on commercial and farm insurance he has built a rapidly growing business which prides itself on quality advice and exceptional customer service.
Debra O’Neil
Office Manager/Claims Manager
Debra joined our team in 2012 after 20 years in the banking industry. Debra quickly learnt the ins & outs of the insurance industry and looks after one of the most important roles in our brokerage – claims management. Debra’s hard working and friendly nature has made her a firm favourite both with clients and staff.
Melanie Kosorog
Account Manager
Melanie started in insurance with NZI in 1994 and has since held a number of roles with both insurers and brokers. Melanie’s friendly nature and attention to detail make her a valuable member of the Red Star team. Mel looks after both rural and business clients.
Alex Freeman
Account Manager
Alex started with Red Star straight out of school and completed a traineeship program in insurance broking. As part of his traineeship Alex has gained experience in all aspects of the business and now looks after a range of SME clients.
Janet Best
Account Manager
Janet commenced with Red Star in 2017 after making a tree change moving from Sydney to Young. Janet brings with her solid experience in a broad range of fields including HR, Customer Service, Office Management and Accounts. Janet looks after day to day needs of our SME clients.
Sam Williams
Account Manager
Sam joined Red Star in early 2020, a couple of weeks before the first lockdown. Learning the ropes in a new job from home was difficult but Sam’s ‘can do’ atitude meant she was up for the challenge!
Since then Sam has progressed to become an Account Manager looking after a broad range of clients and is a valuable member of our team.
